Mathisen & Macara
is a firm of
Chartered Patent Attorneys, European Patent Attorneys, Registered Trade Mark
Attorneys and Community Trade Mark Attorneys that has been established for more
than 70 years. The firm adopted the modern limited liability partnership (LLP)
structure on 1 April 2011. On 1 December 2011, the firm expanded to incorporate
the practice of Compass Patents LLP.
The firm is located to the west of London in Chertsey, south of
Heathrow Airport and near the London orbital motorway, the M25. (Click here for

Mathisen
& Macara has a client base formed by a mix of direct client
work and work from clients referred by overseas attorneys. It prides itself on
the long-term relationships it has established with its clients and overseas
attorneys over many years. It has clients who have used the firm’s services
for more than 50 years and relationships with many overseas attorneys for
longer. At the same time, it has adapted to the 21st century both
internally and in its external relations, embracing new client and office
technologies enthusiastically.
